The Texas Rangers will open the home portion of the 2026 season with a 3:05 p.m. start on Friday, April 3 against the Cincinnati Reds, the club announced Thursday.
The Rangers announced home time starts and sale dates for season ticket and suite rentals for the 2026 with no major changes from the 2025 arrangement. Most weeknight home games will start at 7:05 p.m., with most home Saturday starts at 6:05 and Sunday home starts at 1:35.

Single-game seats are expected to go on sale at a later date.
The schedule has some quirks for 2026 due to FIFA World Cup Group Stage play at AT&T Stadium, leading to a couple of extra mid-series home off days in June and July. The Rangers will follow those off days with day games. They will play 23 total home day games, the majority of them being Sunday getaway games.
Since moving into Globe Life Field and having a retractable roof — and air conditioning — the Rangers have played home day games more regularly. But the total for 2026 is down slightly from the last three years. The Rangers played a franchise record 31 home day games in 2023 and 25 in each of 2024 and 2025. The 23 home day game dates are the fewest for a 162-game season since the club moved to Globe Life Field in the COVID-shortened 2020 season.
