The Philadelphia Eagles have created a gap between themselves and the rest of the NFC East, and we’re not even yet one-quarter of the way through the season.
The Eagles are already two games clear in the division. They are the only undefeated team in the NFC.
As much as I hate to say it, they are the team to beat in both the division and the conference.
Maybe even in the entire NFL.
Dallas Cowboys (1-2-1)
Well, at least they aren’t tied with the Giants for dead last in the division. Then again, they are still in third place after Sunday’s tie finish against Green Bay.
The Cowboys’ defense is the glaring weakness.
In the two games that Dallas has lost, the offense has generated 20 and 14 points. In the other two, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense has put 40 on the board.

The first time was the overtime win against the Giants.
The second was the overtime tie on Sunday.
Dallas’ offense has to score 40 points to have a chance to walk off the field with a win, it seems. And apparently, even 40 isn’t enough.
The Cowboys’ offense cannot be counted on to score 40 every week.
