Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson is the only Eagle on the Game Status Report ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jackson was limited in Friday’s practice and is doubtful due to a groin injury.
The Eagles are already without cornerback Jakorian Bennett, who was placed on Injured Reserve this week. Veteran Parry Nickerson was signed to the active roster from the practice squad as part of the flurry of roster moves on Wednesday. If Jackson is unable to go, Kelee Ringo could be in line to start on the outside opposite of Quinyon Mitchell.
“I’m a huge believer in what you put in the game is what you’re going to get out of it,” Ringo said this week. “I’ve been putting time in. I just feel like the results are going to lay where they shall fall. I’ve been putting in any time for any moment that comes to me.”
Ringo battled in Training Camp for the starting role. Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio told Ringo recently that “he’s going to get his opportunity at some point, and he’s got to be ready.
“I think he’s handled it very well. It didn’t affect his role as a special teamer, which he’s one of the top ones in the league. I think he knows that, eventually, he’ll get a shot, for some reason whatsoever, and he’ll be ready.”
Everyone else on the active roster is good to go for Sunday. Of course, that does not include wide receiver Darius Cooper and outside linebacker Nolan Smith, who were both placed on Injured Reserve along with Bennett on Wednesday.
All-World tackle Lane Johnson will return to the lineup after exiting last Sunday’s win over the Rams with a stinger. Running back Will Shipley has missed the past two games with an oblique injury, but is cleared to return. Quarterback Tanner McKee (right thumb) is available as well after serving as the No. 3 quarterback due to his injury in the first three games.
Linebackers Zack Baun (knee) and Jihaad Campbell (triceps) didn’t practice on Wednesday, but were full-go on Friday and are set to play in Tampa Bay.

Mike Evans officially out; Chris Godwin, Tristan Wirfs ‘trending in the right direction’
It’s no surprise that the Buccaneers will be without wide receiver Mike Evans due to a hamstring injury.
Now, the question is whether fellow wide receiver Chris Godwin will make his season debut against the Eagles?
Godwin returned to practice on Friday as a full participant and is officially questionable for Sunday’s game. Godwin was full-go on Wednesday, but sat out Thursday’s practice.
All-Pro offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs, who has yet to play this season after undergoing a knee procedure in Training Camp, is also questionable after practicing fully for the past two days.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield, too, is questionable after being limited in practice all week with a right biceps injury.
Head Coach Todd Bowles told Buccaneers.com on Friday that all three players are “trending in the right direction.”
Starting defensive end Logan Hall returned to practice on Friday in a limited capacity. He is questionable with a groin injury.
Cornerback Christian Izien is out with a quad injury.

Thursday’s Injury Report
After sorting out several injuries and placing three players on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, things settled back into place for the Eagles on Thursday.
Every player on the active roster participated in at least a limited capacity.
Lane Johnson, who exited Sunday’s win over the Rams after the opening offensive possession due to a stinger, was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Starting linebackers Zack Baun (knee) and Jihaad Campbell (triceps) did not practice on Wednesday, but were limited participants on Thursday. Same situation for cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, who left the Rams game early with a groin injury.
Quarterback Tanner McKee, who is making progress with his right thumb injury from the preseason, remained a limited participant on Thursday.
Running back Will Shipley, who has missed the past two games with an oblique injury, was a full participant for the second day in a row on Thursday.

Chris Godwin misses Thursday’s practice
Wide receiver Chris Godwin did not practice on Thursday after he was a full participant on Wednesday. Godwin has yet to make his 2025 season debut due to an ankle injury last season. Godwin received a rest day on Thursday of Week 2 as he worked himself back into shape, so it remains to be seen if this was by design or the sign of a setback.
Fellow wide receiver Mike Evans did not practice again on Thursday and is not expected to play Sunday against the Eagles due to a hamstring injury.
Starting defensive end Logan Hall (groin) and cornerback Christian Izien (quad) did not practice for a second day in a row.
Right tackle Charlie Heck (knee) and quarterback Baker Mayfield (right biceps) were limited again on Thursday. Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator Josh Grizzard told reporters that Mayfield is taking “mental reps” this week.
As the Eagles look to welcome Lane Johnson back into the lineup after exiting early due to injury last Sunday, the Bucs eye the return of their All-Pro offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs, who has yet to make his season debut after undergoing a knee procedure in Training Camp. He was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday, along with linebacker Lavonte David (knee)
Wirfs told reporters on Thursday that he’s in a “good spot physically.”

Wednesday’s Injury Report
Jalen Hurts was happy to see a familiar face return to the practice field on Wednesday, as Lane Johnson was a limited participant as the Eagles prepare for Sunday’s battle of the undefeated teams in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers.
Johnson exited Sunday’s win over the Rams after the first offensive drive due to a stinger.
“He’s a hell of a player,” quarterback Jalen Hurts said on Wednesday. “I was just talking about him and his routine. I know he’s applauded me for my routine, but his routine is very, very, very intentional. He’s very consistent. He’s very disciplined. And I think those habits show up in his game. He’s been able to do that and take the coaching and be able to grow and evolve and age in a different way than everyone else, so it’s a lot of credit to him.”
Matt Pryor initially replaced Johnson until Fred Johnson entered the game in the second half and the Eagles were able to score three touchdowns in their final four offensive drives to help overcome a 19-point third-quarter deficit in the come-from-behind victory.
“I wouldn’t be able to mention him (Lane Johnson) without mentioning Fred and the way he stepped in because that’s something he was able to do in the past,” Hurts added.
The Eagles will have to overcome some tough injuries. On Wednesday, the team placed cornerback Jakorian Bennett, wide receiver Darius Cooper, and outside linebacker Nolan Smith on Injured Reserve, meaning they will miss at least the next four games.
Furthermore, the team was without starting linebackers Zack Baun (knee) and Jihaad Campbell (triceps) at Wednesday’s practice, along with starting cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (groin).
Lane Johnson and quarterback Tanner McKee (right thumb) were both limited.
Running back Will Shipley was a full participant in practice for the first time since suffering an oblique injury in the season-opening win over the Cowboys.

Mike Evans sidelined, Chris Godwin on track to return
Wide receiver Mike Evans will not play Sunday against the Eagles, but reinforcements are on the way as wide receiver Chris Godwin was a full participant with an ankle injury.
“He did a lot more things this week and he practiced a lot better,” said Head Coach Todd Bowles told Buccaneers.com. “It will just be a matter of him healing up and seeing what he can do in the ballgame if he plays, but he had a good day today.”
Godwin has not played since suffering an ankle injury in Week 7 of the 2024 season.
The Buccaneers could also get left tackle Tristan Wirfs back in the lineup. Wirfs had knee surgery in July. He did not go on the Physically Unable to Perform list in Training Camp with the hope that he would return for this game. Wirfs was limited on Wednesday.
Starting defensive end Logan Hall (groin) and backup nickel cornerback Christian Izien (quad) did not participate in practice, along with Evans, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield (right biceps) was one of four players, along with Wirfs, linebacker Lavonte David (knee), and tackle Charlie Heck (knee), who were limited on Wednesday.
