Fox News host Jesse Watters lit a match under Washington’s political powder keg this week, delivering one of his most blistering monologues yet—this time aimed squarely at Democratic firebrand Rep. Jasmine Crockett. The segment, which instantly went viral, centered around Crockett’s now-infamous Epstein misstep, a blunder that critics say exposed deep cracks in her credibility.

Watters didn’t ease into his attack. He launched.
“She’s dumb,” he began flatly, staring into the camera with that signature half-smirk that signals he’s about to go in for the kill. “She knows her staff is dumb. That’s why she gave herself an out.”
According to Watters, Crockett’s explanation for her shifting statements wasn’t just sloppy—it was calculated.
“So she lied,” he continued. “And only in politics can you lie and get away with it. Actually, the better liar you are, the farther you go.”
From there, Watters escalated to a broader indictment of what he called “the Democratic culture of dishonesty.” He pointed to prominent party figures: Adam Schiff, Gavin Newsom, Hillary Clinton. To Watters, they’re not just seasoned political players—they’re products of a system that rewards manipulation.

“Look at Schiff!” he fumed. “He lied about Trump and now he got a promotion to Senator.”
He rattled through the names like an indictment sheet, arguing that each one had weaponized misinformation during the Trump era, only to see their careers flourish afterward.
“They had what they thought was Trump dead to rights,” Watters said, “and now everyone is collateral damage.”
Social media exploded within minutes. Conservative commentators praised Watters for “saying what everyone else is thinking,” while Democratic strategists scrambled to control the narrative, calling the attack “unhinged” and “sexist.” But even some moderate voices admitted Crockett’s statements around the Epstein files had been “sloppy at best, misleading at worst.”
Meanwhile, Crockett herself—never one to shy away from a fight—responded cryptically online, hinting that she planned to “address the lies” soon. Her supporters accused Watters of distorting the truth to score political points, while her critics insisted this was just the latest example of her “reckless messaging.”

Either way, Watters’ takedown has undeniably shifted the spotlight. Not just onto Crockett’s blunder, but onto the political chaos surrounding the Epstein revelations—an issue that continues to shake both parties.
What’s clear: the fight is far from over. And Watters just threw gasoline on it.
