WNBA legend Candace Parker has long been considered one of the greatest players the league has ever seen, and this week she earned another milestone that firmly cements her basketball legacy.

On Thursday, the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame revealed its Class of 2026, announcing Parker as one of the newest inductees. Joining her are fellow WNBA superstar Elena Delle Donne and celebrated head coach Cheryl Reeve, making it a class defined by excellence and impact.
The official induction ceremony is scheduled for June 27 next year in Knoxville, Tennessee, where Parker and the other honorees will be recognized for their remarkable contributions to the game. Following the announcement, fans across social media flooded Parker with praise, celebrating the honor as long overdue.

“Congratulations Can,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Deserve it all!!” Many others shared emotional tributes, with one fan saying Parker was the reason they started watching women’s college basketball, Tennessee hoops, and the WNBA. Another enthusiast simply wrote, “Keep it coming CP!!!”
Given her career achievements, the recognition comes as no surprise. Over 16 seasons in the WNBA, Parker built a résumé that stands among the most impressive in league history. She is a two-time MVP, a seven-time All-Star, and a former Defensive Player of the Year.
Her championship pedigree is equally remarkable. Parker won three WNBA titles—each with a different franchise. She first lifted the trophy in 2016 with the Los Angeles Sparks, the team that selected her first overall in the 2008 draft. She captured her second ring with the Chicago Sky in 2021 and capped her career with a third championship in 2023, playing alongside A’ja Wilson with the Las Vegas Aces in her final season.

With her Hall of Fame induction now confirmed, Candace Parker’s legacy as one of the sport’s most influential and decorated players is more solid than ever.
