NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is heading down the Yellow Brick Road later this month, going “full Oz” in celebration of Wicked: For Good, the upcoming finale to Universal Pictures’ musical movie saga.
The Wicked-themed event kicks off Sunday, Nov. 16, during the show’s latest special post-Sunday Night Football edition featuring Rosalía and DJ Khaled. The episode will debut a brand-new “Wicked Beat Bit,” a follow-up to last year’s viral sensation that featured members of the Wicked cast.
The original sketch racked up more than 228 million views and 20 million interactions across digital platforms, making it one of The Tonight Show’s most-watched segments of 2024.
The Oz-inspired week continues Monday, Nov. 17, when three-time Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo—who stars as Elphaba—joins Fallon on the couch.
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, Ariana Grande makes her twelfth appearance on The Tonight Show. Grande returns as Glinda the Good Witch in the new film.

Then on Wednesday, Nov. 19, Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh stops by to talk about her turn as Madame Morrible, rounding out the show’s Wicked: For Good week.
NBC and Universal Pictures, of course, share a corporate parent in Comcast, with Fallon’s Tonight Show week just one arm of NBC’s promotional efforts for the flick. The network aired a primetime special, Wicked: One Wonderful Night, Thursday night, and staged a crossover event on The Voice earlier this week.
