As the memorial service for Charlie Kirk gets underway, tributes have poured in, including from conservative political commentator and Fox News pundit Tucker Carlson.
31-year-old conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was also the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University campus earlier this month. He is survived by his wife and two young children. The shock shooting was caught on camera and shared widely online, with shock emanating around the world.
Addressing the crowds at the Charlie Kirk memorial service, Tucker Carlson expressed, “This is the most unbelievable thing.” He then appeared to let out a laugh.

His speech continued, “This gathering… is a reminder of what we’ve known for 2,000 years. Which is any attempt to extinguish the light causes it to burn brighter. Every single time.

“Clearly something’s coming next… remember this moment. This is the way. And that is what Charlie Kirk was saying underneath it all. God bless.”
On social media, the giggling did not go unnoticed, as people pointed out the moment from Carlson. One person wrote, “Tucker Carlson is giggling kind of unhinged during the funeral speech.”
In response, someone pointed out, “That laugh was demonic.” Another shared, “Why is Tucker Carlson giggling during the Charlie Kirk memorial? So weird.”
“Very strange. It’s a maniacal laugh. I don’t think it’s unusual for him,” replied another.

The Charlie Kirk memorial has seen prominent members of the Trump administration, including Vice President JD Vance and Trump himself, come together to be in attendance at the memorial at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Charlie was fatally shot in the neck on September 10 as he appeared as a guest speaker at Utah Valley University.

Tyler Robinson, the alleged assassin, was taken into custody after a publicized manhunt that went on for more than 30 hours. The 22-year-old Robinson allegedly said he had “enough” of the “hatred” Kirk was spreading.
Many high-profile officials have been seen attending the service, including President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Pete Hegseth, Tucker Carlson, Stephen Miller, and RFK Jr.
Kirk’s assassination sparked widespread condemnation from Republicans and Democrats. Since the killing, top Trump officials have warned of repercussions for anyone who “celebrates” Kirk’s death.

The funeral has also been designated as a Special Event Assessment Rating Level 1 by the Department of Homeland Security, “reserved for events of the highest national significance.”
