UNC Professor Secretly Carrying a Gun for the Far Left, Involved in the Death of Charlie Kirk?
On September 10, 2025, a cold shot rang out in Utah, taking the life of Charlie Kirk – the founder of Turning Point USA, one of the most prominent conservative figures in the United States. But just two weeks later, before the memorial wreaths had even withered, a strange flyer appeared on the Georgetown University campus: “Hey Fascist! Catch This!”
Just a cheap provocation? Or is it a trace of the armed far-left network – where a prestigious professor at the University of North Carolina (UNC) is accused of secretly participating?
Ghosts from the past: Redneck Revolt and John Brown Gun Club
The names Redneck Revolt and John Brown Gun Club are familiar in reports on domestic terrorism. These are far-left groups that call themselves “militias for justice”, often appearing at protests with semi-automatic rifles. The group has been linked to at least two violent attacks on ICE facilities in Washington and Texas, leaving federal employees in fear.
According to records released by Fox News Digital, Dwayne Dixon, a professor of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at UNC, is a member of the Silver Valley chapter, a local branch of Redneck Revolt.
Many students see Dixon as a quiet, even “a little eccentric” lecturer. But legal records reveal a different side: he wielded an AR-15 rifle at the Charlottesville rally in 2017, and was charged with “assault” during the riots that toppled the Silent Sam statue in 2018. The charges were later “bizarrely” withdrawn.
The match: from flyer to shell casing
What makes the public shiver is the suspicious coincidence: the slogan “Hey fascist! Catch this!” The words on the flyer at Georgetown were identical to the words engraved on the bullet casings left at the scene of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Coincidence? Or a deliberate statement from an underground network?
Andrew Kolvet, a spokesman for Turning Point USA, posted directly to X (formerly Twitter):
“We found the flyer at Georgetown, and now it turns out a professor from the ‘elite university’ UNC is a member of this group. That professor should be fired immediately, and the entire network should be investigated.”
Kolvet also pointed out that Redneck Revolt had publicly called itself “the only organization that celebrates the death of a Nazi.” In the context of Charlie Kirk’s recent political fall, that statement was nothing less than a cold confession.
University or extremist hotbed?
UNC immediately issued a statement saying it “respects freedom of speech” and asserted that it does not monitor the legitimate personal activities of its employees. But that justification only fueled public outrage.
“How can a professor openly carry a gun, engage in riots, and associate with extremist groups and still continue teaching?” – a student’s parent asked.
Many opinions say that the American university system is becoming “fertile ground” for far-left organizations to secretly recruit. The flyers at Georgetown are just the tip of the iceberg.
Dixon’s shady past
Looking back at Dixon’s personal record, there are suspicious gaps:
Lecturer portraits disappeared from the UNC website.
Legal charges from 2017–2018 were all dismissed for unknown reasons, despite eyewitness accounts.
In many academic articles, Dixon openly criticized “American capitalism” and praised “armed resistance”.
Many believe Dixon was not just a misguided individual, but may have been acting as a “shadowy patron” for a far-left network of violence.
Was there a hand behind Kirk’s death?
Charlie Kirk’s death has sparked fierce debate. Some see it as a crazy individual act, but many believe in a “conspiracy” scenario.
The writing on the bullet casing matches a flyer for the John Brown Gun Club.
Professor Dixon – an open member of the Silver Valley branch – appeared just as the assassination became the focus.
The mainstream media tends to ignore this connection, only reporting it in small doses.
Is this just a random string of disparate news items? Or is it a link in a campaign of political violence hidden under the guise of “academic freedom”?
Left open…
In Glendale, Arizona, where tens of thousands of people recently attended a memorial service for Charlie Kirk, the atmosphere was still thick with grief. But amid the prayers and hymns, a chilling question still echoed:
Could a respected university professor—who taught culture and history—also have been the shadowy gunman who contributed to the death of an American conservative icon?
And if the truth comes out, what will America face: a university poisoned by extremism… or a country that has allowed political violence to fester?
