The mystery grows around the presence of the wonderful Whoopi Goldberg on the set of Un Posto al Sole. The Hollywood star has been cast for a role that apparently will not be just a brief cameo, as has been the case for other special guests who have visited Palazzo Palladini or Caffè Vulcano over the years. Rumors suggest a new character who will keep Upas fans company for almost a month and could develop an important emotional relationship with one of the soap’s historical protagonists. When asked for some previews, however, the soap’s actors are all tight-lipped: no one has been allowed to reveal any details or even post their own photos on set with Whoopi. At least until further notice. Currently, the strategy is to release a new detail, a new post, a new story each day: on the official Fremantle profile, the production company, a first shot of Goldberg on set has appeared, and the details suggest Casa Ferri. It’s no coincidence that the vast majority of fans commenting on the post in these hours are betting on a lawyer role for their new favorite: probably arriving in Italy to discuss the incident that occurred to the Cantieri yacht, which triggered the company’s crisis, perhaps contacted by Marina during her sudden business trip to the USA following the incident. Meanwhile, she recently posted a video from the set in her stories: ‘Wow! So, Un Posto al Sole is a very prestigious soap opera here in Italy,’ said Whoopi Goldberg. ‘I love acting, and that’s why I’m here today: I’m having wonderful days, being here has great significance for me.
