Rhea Ripley vs. Brock Lesnar: Who Is the Bigger Star?
WNBA fans lit up social media after photos surfaced suggesting Jewell Loyd may be in a new relationship. In an Instagram post, former Notre Dame and Miami forward Natalija Marshall appeared to confirm a romance with the Las Vegas Aces guard. The two were seen getting close in several photos, which quickly spread across multiple platforms.
“Some souls just find each other,” the caption read.
The reaction online was immediate. Fans pointed out that Marshall seemed to resemble both Skylar Diggins and Te’a Adams—Loyd’s ex, with whom she was publicly linked last year. Some even confused Marshall for Adams at first glance, adding fuel to the conversation. Others were surprised because Loyd was reportedly with someone else as recently as the Olympics.
The comments reflected the confusion and surprise:
“Why she look like Skylar Diggins?”
“So this isn’t the same exact girl from before???”
“This girl and her ex could pass as sisters, I fear.”
“This wasn’t the other girl, right?”
“Well, she definitely has a type.”
For fans trying to understand the connection, Marshall played three seasons at Notre Dame—Loyd’s alma mater—before transferring to Miami for the 2024–25 season. She started 23 of 26 games, averaging 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds. Off the court, she works as a model with Ford Models and KLA Management and has built a following of over 54,000 on Instagram.

Jewell Loyd Facing a Challenging Start in Las Vegas
While her personal life is drawing attention, Loyd’s first season with the Las Vegas Aces has been off to a rocky start. After 10 seasons with the Seattle Storm, she requested a move following an internal investigation into alleged coaching staff harassment. The Aces, looking to reshape their roster after falling short of a three-peat, traded Kelsey Plum to the LA Sparks and brought Loyd to Las Vegas.
So far, the transition has been tough. Loyd is averaging 11.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 38.2% from the field and 37.0% from three. It marks her lowest scoring output since her rookie year in 2015. She has yet to fully mesh with stars A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, and Chelsea Gray.
With the Aces sitting at 11–11 entering the second half of the season, they’ll need a strong push to secure a playoff spot—and Loyd’s adjustment will play a crucial role in that climb.
