In a Wednesday broadcast, The View hosts criticized President Donald Trump’s address to the United Nations General Assembly, questioning his leadership of the United States and his mental fitness.

The ladies shared their thoughts on Trump’s speech, with Sara Haines speaking first; she offered a joke about how his team must have felt as the president addressed members from all over the world, Decider reported.
“I just feel like someone died yesterday watching that, like his people, his team, because that was just a train wreck,” Hines said on the show.
Meanwhile, both Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin called the speech “embarrassing.”
“What an embarrassment,” Behar said. “The world is laughing at us.”
‘I’m worried’
When Whoopi Goldberg commented, she questioned Trump’s mental acuity, and she said she was “worried” about his competence and ability to lead the country after his controversial remarks.
Her sentiments were similar to those Republicans often shared about former President Joe Biden during his time in office.
Goldberg said Trump’s speech was an excellent opportunity to address multiple issues, but she said that Trump’s words fell short for everyone who attended.
“He had an opportunity to do so much more than he offered them, and they don’t consider him to be serious anymore,” she said. “I’m worried.”
Would the 25th Amendment be used on Trump?
Hostin raised the possibility of using the 25th Amendment when a president is no longer fit to hold office: “It’s actually the 25th Amendment when you start questioning someone’s competence and mental acuity,” she said.

Goldberg said, “If Biden had acted like this I would have said, ‘Yeah take him,’” she said. “This was not presidential and this was not helpful.”
