In New York City’s Nolita neighborhood, Muir traveled to Italian-American restaurant and pizzeria Rubirosa.

With its reinvented Italian-American classics, the restaurant bring in a never-ending rush of customers — and has landed on Oprah’s Favorite Things of 2025.
Of Rubirosa’s many specialty products, Oprah’s listed the Pasta Sampler and Marinara Sauce Gift Set as her favorite. It features reginetti, fusilli and lumache pasta, as well as three jars of marinara for the ultimate Mulberry Street experience.

While it may be cold and snowing in part of the country, Muir took a trip to Van Leeuwen Ice Cream’s SoHo location in New York City — taste testing the confections they’re churning for the holidays, and trying out the American-made Zeroll Ice Cream Scoop.
