The Interview
Royal commentator Neil Sean detailed the new allegations on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Sunday night. He claimed that Meghan’s team arranged her interview with Harper’s Bazaar because it fit a “grassroots level” image.

Apparently, Meghan believed a “novice” journalist would give her the compliant interview she wanted. Notably, the writer apparently delivered. However, a problem emerged later.

Sean reported that Prince Harry’s wife had one specific expectation. She wanted the magazine to document that she wants to be known as “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.” It was mentioned, in a way by the announcement of her presence. But not quite in the way Meghan allegedly wanted.
The Writer Was Amused
In fact, the writer “found it hilarious,” according to Sean’s online sources. Surprisingly, Meghan missed that during her final copy approval. Consequently, she is now allegedly “really upset.” So, Sean opined that the fallout is likely to “explode” and called it “just the tip of the iceberg” of her title issues.
Actually, the story becomes more intense behind the scenes. According to Sean, an ex-staff member from Meghan and Harry’s team revealed startling internal rules. Apparently, staff members must refer to Meghan as either “Duchess” or “Maam.” Even worse, Sean claimed that “Prince Harry goes along with this, right? 100%.”
Why The Emphasis On A Title?
Going on, the commentator gave a potential motive for the formality. He suggested that Harry genuinely believes the couple will end up “recalled back to the royal family.” Therefore, they insist on constantly using the title to maintain their royal relevance.
Obviously, that approach comes after failed attempts to brand Meghan under other names. Remember, at one stage the couple considered adopting the surname of Princess Diana’s family: Spencer.
Why does the fixation on using the title seem so important to Meghan? Well, the royal expert believes that “she wants the world to know that she’s still somebody of significance.” For now, the alleged potential drama confirms that the “Duchess” title remains a very sensitive topic for Meghan Markle.
