Millie Bobby Brown clapped back at photographers who told her to “smile” at the carpet of the “Stranger Things” Season 5 London premiere.
The actress, 21, was posing in her stunning boudoir-inspired dress until she stopped and angrily shouted at photographers on Thursday. “Smile? You smile!” she yelled and then stormed off.
The tense moment was caught on camera and quickly went viral on social media where fans had mixed reactions.

“Millie got mad at the photographers and left the carpet .. ok Chappell Roan,” one critic wrote on X, referring to the singer who has had several meltdowns at photographers.
“Go on girl give us nothing 😍” another user sarcastically added.
But many others jumped to Brown’s defense and applauded the Emmy nominee for sticking up for herself.

“Oh I love her! As she damn well should 😂” one fan commented. “I love how celebrities are starting to finally talk back,” another added.
“she’s got that mommy anger!!” another quipped, since Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, recently adopted a baby girl.
Others called out the photographers, condemning their demands for Brown to smile for them.
“I mean the way they were telling her to smile. Definitely warranted,” one user wrote. “Good for her and good for Chappell. The vultures should only get their pics if they behave.”
A rep for Brown did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

This isn’t the first time Brown has made headlines during the Season 5 press tour. Fans were shocked after she and co-star David Harbour put on a united front at the Los Angelas stop last week, shortly after after news of their reported tension on set was revealed.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that the “Enola Holmes” actress allegedly accused Harbour of bullying and harassing her while filming the Netflix series.
Brown filed a lengthy complaint about Harbour, 50, before the series started filming its fifth and final season, per the Daily Mail.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” a source told the outlet. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
Harbour reportedly faced an internal investigation over Brown’s claims, though the outcome of the inquiry is unknown. Additionally, Brown allegedly filmed the series finale accompanied by a personal representative on set.
Despite the report, the co-stars, whose characters share a close bond on the show, warmly embraced and smiled for the cameras in Los Angeles. Neither have addressed the claims.
