The Seattle Seahawks didnât start fast in Carolina â but when it mattered most, they delivered.

And by the end of the night, they walked away with a convincing 27â10 victory that pushed them closer to the top seed in the NFC.
Seahawks Rally in Second Half to Defeat Panthers 27â10
The Seattle Seahawks showed resilience and balance on both sides of the ball in their 27â10 win over the Carolina Panthers, turning a slow start into a dominant second-half performance.

Head coach Mike Macdonald praised his teamâs ability to stay composed and stack plays when the game tightened.
âIt was a great win by our guys,â Macdonald said after the game. âWe didnât flinch. In the second half we responded, created turnovers, and finished the game the way we wanted.â
Defense Sparks the Momentum
Seattleâs defense played a crucial role in flipping the momentum of the game.

Veteran defenders DeMarcus Lawrence and Julian Love each delivered key takeaways that shifted control to the Seahawks.
Macdonald emphasized how valuable those veterans have been for the defense.
âWith D-Law you feel like itâs a play waiting to happen,â Macdonald said. âJulian has that playmaking ability and poise. Those guys stepped up in a big way.â
The defenseâs ability to create turnovers has been a consistent theme throughout the season.
Run Game Closes Out the Victory
Seattleâs rushing attack proved decisive late in the game, allowing the team to control the clock and finish the Panthers off.
Running backs Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet combined for a powerful performance.
Macdonald even described the outing as Charbonnetâs best game as a Seahawk.
âWeâve got two really great backs,â Macdonald said. âSometimes the game just flows one way or the other, but both of them are integral to what we do.â

The Seahawks capped the game with a four-minute touchdown drive, something the coaching staff had emphasized throughout the season.
Sam Darnold Leads Key Plays
Quarterback Sam Darnold admitted it wasnât his cleanest performance, but he highlighted how the offense stepped up in critical moments.
âWe didnât start the way we wanted,â Darnold said. âBut our defense and special teams kept us in the game, and we did enough in the second half to win.â
Seattle also converted multiple long third-down situations, an area the team has been focusing on improving.
âOur offensive line blocked their butts off,â Darnold said. âThe skill players stepped up and made big plays.â
AJ Barner Emerges as Offensive Spark

Tight end AJ Barner played an important role in the offense and earned praise from both coaches and teammates.
Macdonald described him as a âspark plugâ for the team.
âHeâs got an edge, a swagger â those are Seahawk traits,â Macdonald said. âHeâs a great player and we feed off him.â
Darnold also highlighted Barnerâs development in his second season.
âHe does a lot of things that donât show up on the stat sheet,â Darnold said. âBut he stepped up in a big way for us.â
Seahawks Eye NFCâs Top Seed
With the victory, Seattle moved one step closer to securing the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
However, Macdonald made it clear the team remains focused on the next challenge.
âWeâre going to do everything in our power to win the next one,â he said. âNothing changes. One game at a time.â
That next challenge will come against division rival San Francisco, a matchup that could determine the NFC West title.

For now, the Seahawks are enjoying another win in a season defined by complementary football and resilience.
And if they keep stacking performances like this, they could enter the playoffs as one of the leagueâs most dangerous teams.
