Ariana Grande is doubling down on the status of her upcoming āEternal Sunshineā tour. The singer and actress is returning to the stage for her first arena tour in seven years. Grande said in an interview on Amy Poehlerās Good Hang podcast that the trek will be a one-time event, with no plans for future tours.
āThe last 10 or 15 years will look very different to the ones that are coming up,ā Grande told Poehler. āI donāt want to say anything definitive. I do know that Iām very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time. Iām going to give it my all and itās going to be beautiful. I think thatās why Iām doing it because Iām like, āOne last hurrah!āā
The āEternal Sunshineā Tour kicks off on June 6 in Oakland, Calif., and makes stops across the country in cities including Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston and more, before wrapping up in North America in Chicago on Aug. 5. She will go on to perform a string of 10 shows in London.
Grande also opened up about her character in the upcoming comedy film, āFocker In-Law,ā as part of the āMeet the Parentsā franchise. āMy character is a triathlete,ā she said. āI spent yesterday doing burpees and high knees with Robert De Niro.
