Charlie Sheen is promoting prenuptial agreements on his book tour.
The actor spoke about his “messy” — and “pricey” — divorces during a candid conversation in Atlantic City, N.J., over the weekend.
The “Two and a Half Men” alum reflected on being “really overloaded” while filming the hit show, according to the Daily Mail.

“It really wasn’t so much about what was going on at the job,” the Emmy nominee clarified. “It was all the personal s–t that it was nearly impossible not to bring with me to work.”
He continued, “I had four children during those eight years and went through two really messy divorces, you know – and pricey!”
While playing Charlie Harper onscreen between 2003 and 2011, Sheen was married to Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller.

Sheen, 60, welcomed daughters Sami, now 21, and Lola, now 20, while married to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 54, from 2002 to 2006.
Twin sons Bob and Max, now 16, were born during his and Mueller’s three-year union.
When a fan subsequently asked whether this meant the “Spin City” star was “saying to sign the prenup,” Sheen urged couples to do so “if you can.”

The “Wall Street” alum acknowledged, “You’re gonna get pushback. But maybe she needs you to sign one. Maybe it goes both ways.”
Sheen, notably, had a 60-page prenuptial agreement with Mueller when they split in 2020.
When he and Richards broke up, however, the former couple did not have a prenup in place.
The reality star confirmed this on a 2010 “RHOBH” episode, saying, “Charlie and I didn’t have a prenup when we got married and when we got divorced, I could have asked for half of what he made,.”

She added that she “did not” because she isn’t “greedy.”
Richards and Mueller both took part in Sheen’s Netflix docuseries, “aka Charlie Sheen,” which came out in September.
In addition to the show highlighting the Golden Globe winner’s failed marriages, he wrote about the tumultuous relationships in his “Book of Sheen” memoir, released that same month.
Sheen has been married one other time, with a short-lived union to model Donna Peele from 1995 to 1996.

As for his current love life, the “Platoon” star has been celibate for nearly a decade, he recently told Page Six.
“For so long [sex] was all I cared about, or it was near the top of the priority list. And so I just saw [celibacy] as a needed break from those pursuits,” he explained.
Sheen noted that he isn’t “slamming the door on anything in the future” and is open to “companionship” one day.
