It’s officially over.
Nicole Kidman has filed for divorce from Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage, The Post can confirm.
Court documents obtained by The Post reveal Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and she listed the pair’s date of separation as “date of filing,” which was Tuesday, Sept. 30.

She is seeking to be the “primary residential parent” for her and Urban’s two daughters, as well as anticipating “that the parties will enter into a Marital Dissolution Agreement and an Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan that will be submitted to the Court for approval.”
Kidman added that she wants the court to ensure her and Urban’s agreement “makes adequate and sufficient provisions for the parties’ assets and debts” and that the parenting plan “provides for the care” of their minor kids and any “specific relief to which wife may be entitled.”
The Post confirmed the news of Kidman and Urban’s separation on Monday.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told Page Six, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things” with Urban.
Additional sources claimed that the exes have been living separately “since the beginning of summer.”
“Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home,” according to TMZ.
They further alleged that Urban initiated the separation, and that Kidman has been left “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”

The “Babygirl” star, 58, and “Somebody Like You” singer, 57, share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
But a source close to the former couple revealed that Kidman and Urban’s split “really hasn’t been a secret” to their inner circle.

“People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable,” an insider told People on Monday, adding that Kidman and Urban have “been living separately for a while now.”
Another source told the outlet that the actress was leaning on her family for support during her breakup from the former “American Idol” judge.
“Nicole’s sister has been a rock, and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another,” they said.

Multiple sources close to Kidman told TMZ that Urban is rumored to be already seeing another woman, although it is unclear if he moved on before or after the pair’s separation earlier in the summer.
“All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman,” an insider claimed to the outlet. “Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”

“It’s all over Nashville,” added another.
Kidman and Urban were last seen in public together shortly before the initial news broke of their separation.

They were all smiles and laughing as they stood together at a 2025 FIFA Club World Cup match in Nashville, Tenn., on June 20, showing no sign that their relationship was crumbling behind the scenes.
The Oscar winner and former “Voice” judge tied the knot on June 25, 2006, one year after meeting at the G’Day USA Gala in January 2005.
Kidman recalled the moment she first met Urban during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2017.

“I remember thinking, I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me,” she shared at the time. “It’s true! He didn’t call me for four months.”
One year later, she revealed the secret to her and the country crooner’s marriage during an interview with People in 2018.
“I think it’s knowing that you have to keep contributing to what we call the ‘us.’ You go, ‘Does this work for us?’” Kidman shared seven years before her and Urban’s divorce.

“When you make an us, it’s yours together — that’s what you create,” she added. “Nobody else has that. It’s just between the two of you.”
As for Urban, he appeared to abruptly end an interview over a question about Kidman just months before the news of their split broke.
“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful loves scenes on TV and radio?” Australia’s Mix 102.3 host Max Burford asked the country superstar on July 1.

“What just happened here?” Burford asked after Urban suddenly disappeared from the line, while a producer said, “He’s disconnected from Zoom.” A source, however, claimed to People that he did not hang up.
“I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question,” the producer added at the time.
The Post reached out to Kidman and Urban’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
