President Trump praised Kate Middleton as “so beautiful” during a heart-warming exchange between the pair on the first full day of the commander-in-chief’s state visit to the United Kingdom.
“You’re beautiful, so beautiful,” Trump told the Princess of Wales, 43, as he greeted Kate and Prince William on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Wearing a maroon dress with a matching hat and purse, Middleton smiled as she shook hands with the president alongside Prince William, who was dressed in a dark suit.

The two-day trip by Trump and first lady Melania Trump at the invitation of King Charles III marks the first time that any elected political leader has been invited for two state visits by a British monarch.
Last December, Trump praised “handsome” Prince William, telling The Post he had “a great talk” with the future king after his meeting in Paris.
Wednesday’s ceremonial welcome was followed by a private luncheon with the royal family before the first couple laid a wreath at the tomb of the late Queen Elizabeth II inside St. George’s Chapel.
Some 200 military musicians then gathered to take part in the historic Beating Retreat ceremony, which dates back to the 17th century and symbolizes the closing of military camp gates and lowering of ceremonial flags at the end of each day.

The British Massed Band, joined by the US Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, played military standards — including “Yankee Doodle Dandy” — under an overcast sky.
The president and the king applauded as a flyover of the Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force’s aerobatic team, concluded the ceremony.
